Dashiki Festival 2025: When culture, sports, and brand unite in the name of shared values

From July 1 to 5, Accra hosted the Dashiki Festival 2025, a landmark cultural event that brought together tribes, athletes, artists, and brands that are genuinely involved in the life of the community. One of the main partners of the festival was 1xBet, which supported key activities, inspired thousands of participants, and left a lasting impression not only in memories but also in deeds.

Festival results: five days of energy and unity

The festival featured three large-scale stages, each supported by 1xBet:

City cleanup — on the first day, volunteers, local residents, and the 1xBet team took to the streets to clean up the area ahead of the festivities. It sent a powerful message: cleanliness starts with us.

Dashiki Football Gala tournament (July 2–4) — three days of thrilling matches at La Wireless School Park stadium. 1xBet not only acted as a partner but also hosted a vibrant branded zone filled with contests, games, prize draws, and, of course, gifts. During breaks and before matches, brand promoters entertained the crowd with everything: from Wheel of Fortune to mini-football accuracy contests. The audience joined in with enthusiasm, and the 1xBet zone became the true epicenter of fun.

Final day and Rep Your Tribe parade (July 5) — a morning procession from the Trade Fair to independence square and back to Labadi Wireless Park gathered thousands of participants dressed in traditional attire representing their tribes. The 1xBet team walked the entire route alongside the crowd and hosted the final celebration point, offering activities, gifts, and a performance on the main stage.

“We don’t just sponsor — we are present, we get involved, we share emotions with people. For us, it’s more than a simple festival. It is about reputation, trust, and values. Dashiki is the ideal platform for supporting culture and sports,” said representatives of the 1xBet brand.

    Awards and recognition

On July 4, the stadium hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the football tournament. A representative of 1xBet presented:

The winning team received individual merchandise sets and a professional training kit (balls, a pump, a net, gloves, and cones).

The tournament’s top scorer, Daniel Amponsah, got a special prize from 1xBet: a fitness watch, a branded cap, a T-shirt, and a football.

“Football is part of our DNA. We support young players and believe in the power of sports as a tool for growth and unity.”

Interview with MJ The Comedian: “1xBet has taken the festival to a whole new level”

MJ The Comedian — actor, showman, and founder of the Dashiki Festival — shared his thoughts on the event and the role of its partners:

    — What are your impressions of the 2025 festival?

It was magical. Honestly, I feel a bit awkward when people thank me for the Dashiki Festival. After all, it was conceived for them. Thousands of people came — this is the result of many years of effort. We are grateful to the participants, volunteers, and the team that worked tirelessly to make it happen.

    — What challenges did you face?

We cleaned the streets, ran a football tournament, and organized the parade — all of it took energy. Even on the final day, it rained, and I was worried. But people still came — and that showed they could feel the sincerity behind it all.

    — What role did 1xBet play?
A huge one. I honestly feel like we became one family. This partnership was perfect. 1xBet gave us the resources and the confidence to bring even the most ambitious ideas to life. They weren’t just sponsors — they were with us from day one to the last. Support for football, gifts, and engagement — all were done in a truly remarkable way.

    — What does the slogan Rep Your Tribe mean to you?
It’s about identity. You can be from any tribe and be proud of that. Dashiki became a space where you can show who you are, without judgment, without inequality. Everyone belongs here. And 1xBet helped make that space possible.

    — What can we expect in 2026?
The tenth anniversary festival. We are already preparing surprises. Don’t be shocked if Shatta Wale appears on stage. Believe us — Dashiki will be the event of the year.

1xBet: a partner that was everywhere

    — The brand took part in all key stages of the festival

    — Organized brand zones with activities and gifts

    — Held prize draws and contests that attracted hundreds of participants

    — Presented awards to the winners of the football tournament

    — Performed on the main stage, highlighting its position and contribution

    — Gave away more than 300 gifts to participants and guests

    Conclusion

Dashiki Festival 2025 is more than an event. It is an experience, an emotion, and an example of how a brand can be an informal but sincere participant in the life of the community.

1xBet is proud to be part of this story and has begun preparing for the anniversary festival in 2026.

Follow Dashiki Festival and 1xBet on social media — together we can create much more than just a celebration. We can build a movement. Rep Your Tribe — together with us.
